Come and experience the overwhelmingly good atmosphere in the home of the most winning ice hockey team in Denmark – Herning Blue Fox. You can also feel the ice under the skates, when you are ice skating over the freshly laid ice in Kvik Hockey Arena.
Ice Hockey
Herning Blue Fox plays in Denmark’s top league. They have won the championship 16 times, which is quite a lot compared to the first runner up, Sønderjyske, who has only had the honor to be called champions 7 times.
If you would like to go and see this living legend play ice hockey, it will only cost you about 75-100 DKK and then you get an amazingly one-of-a-kind experience in Herning.
There will be an extremely fascinating atmosphere of fighting-will, a spirit of fellowship and a staggering sense excitement which you can get swept up in. In the break you can go to the hot-dog stand and get something to eat or you can stay in the arena and watch the thrilling shows between periods and get ready for the next period.
Ice skating
One of the many joys that Kvik Hockey Arena has to offer is ice skating. Every Sunday, in the winter season, you can rent ice skates and have a great time with your friends. Once a month there is an event called “Skating Disco”. It takes place at 19:45-23:30, and the admission price is 35 DKK per person. The price for renting ice skates is only the small amount of 30 DKK.

Transport
To get to the Kvik Hockey Arena you can go by bus. You can catch the 1A-bus at the bus terminal, which is placed in the center of Herning.
So all in all if you like sports, a sense of excitement and have a few friends to bring – then it is the place to be!
