​Welcome to Herning Gymnasium

The atmosphere at “Herning Rocks” (in Danish called Herning Rocker) is indescribable, and you get the opportunity to see the most famous artists in Denmark. You will have a day, which you will definitely not forget from your time in Denmark.

The festival takes place at Teglparken in Herning on the last Saturday in May in a huge field with two stages for the artists and many tents where you can buy anything you need. Every year they make a program for the event with all the great Danish artists and musicians, and there are many activities and contests, which you can participate in and win great prizes.

However, music is not the only thing that you can experience at the event. You also get to meet new people and friends and experience Danish culture.

 

Laughter and happiness will dominate the day – and that is why we love and always look forward to “Herning Rocks”.

Some of our own favorite memories from “Herning Rocks” was when Lukas Graham, one out of many great Danish artists, played at the festival in 2013. It was an amazing concert and afterwards we got his autograph.

In the many nice booths, you can buy a lot of fun stuff. For example, you can buy new sunglasses, a drink or two (you need to be 18 years old), some fake tattoos, funny hats and so on. If you are hungry, you can buy pizzas, salads, ice cream, burgers or all you can wish for. You can get whatever you need on a day like this, and you will not regret it.
